Man Found Guilty of Manslaughter Sentenced

A judge sentenced Jermaine Thurston on Thursday to two years in prison for manslaughter. In January, a jury found Thurston guilty for shooting a man in the chest and killing him last June.

Thurston killed the man after an altercation at a bar, but his lawyers say that it was all in self defense.
