Crews Say Most Spilled Milk Cleaned Up

May 9, 2007

Albemarle County environmental crews say that they have contained most of the spilled milk. A truck flipped over yesterday on Rockfish Gap Turnpike, spilling thousands of gallons of milk and diesel fuel into a nearby creek.

Crews say that they have cleaned up most of that milk and that the spill did not cause any problems for the ecosystem. The driver of the truck is facing reckless driving charges.
