Virginia Tech Panel Tours Campus

May 21, 2007

The panel investigating last month's shooting spree at Virginia Tech began Monday, taking a tour of buildings where the victims were killed. The panel was in a closed meeting Monday morning before taking a 20-minute tour of Norris Hall and West Ambler Johnston Hall.

Commission chairman Gerald Massengill said that it was very helpful to hear about the shootings from the people who were there and and to view the where the victims were shot.

The first two victims were killed in West Ambler Johnston Hall. Gunman Seung-Hui Cho then went to Norris Hall where he killed the majority of his victims before killing himself.
