Starr Hill Brewery Making Efforts To Allow Tours

May 29, 2007

The Starr Hill Brewery in Crozet is hoping to expand its operation and allow the public to take tours of their facility.

The brewery is seeking a permit from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to begin allowing tours. If it is approved tours could begin as early as mid summer or early fall at the 15,000 square foot facility.

The company is refurbishing three-thousand-square-foot rooftop
deck and outdoor walkway where visitors can sip a beer and listen
to bands perform as well as sample the brewery's latest experiments before they're available to restaurants or retailers.
