Friday, Charlottesville police said that a second person may have been involved in that attempted bank robbery.

That man is John Joseph Amann of Fredericksburg.

He was arrested by FBI agents while on his way back to Fredericksburg from Charlottesville.

Yesterday Charlottesville police arrested 38-year-old Jeffrey Adams of Fredericksburg.

He was taken into custody without incident and neither Adams nor any of the people inside the bank were hurt.

Both men are currently in federal custody.

Police say more information on this case may become available after they talk with FBI agents next week.

The bank's vice president says they will be back open for normal business hours on Monday morning.
