Albemarle County and Charlottesville Taxes Due

June 4, 2007

Albemarle County and the city of Charlottesville want to remind residents that their taxes for the first half of 2007 are due on Tuesday.

Albemarle County residents can pay using a variety of methods. They can pay by phone or online at the link below. Several drop boxes are located at both McIntire Road and 5th Street locations.

The McIntire location will offer an express window for taxpayers who just want to drop off their payment.

Charlottesville residents and businesses must pay by the end of the business day on Tuesday to avoid being penalized. Payments should be made at City Hall between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Payments can also be taken to drop boxes around City Hall.

If you have any questions, you are asked to call the City Treasurer's office at 434-970-3146.
