Police say robbers stole about 20 computers from Clark Elementary. Most of them were pricey Apple laptops.
Police think the crime at the school in Belmont likely happened after dark late Thursday night or early Friday morning.
They said the robber or robbers got in through a wooden door that's hard to see from the street. They broke part of it, then removed the glass.
The more than 20 computers they got away with have a value of about $25,000. Investigators collected some evidence from the scene, but don't have any solid leads for suspects.
There are no eyewitnesses either, which is why police are asking anyone who sees anything suspicious, like someone trying to sell computers similar to the laptops that were taken, to call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
