UVa Appoints New Vice-Rector

A Virginia Beach man has been elected as Vice-Rector of the University of Virginia.

The Board of Visitors chose John "Dubby" Wynne to serve a two-year term as Vice-Rector after which he will become the university's 40th rector.

Wynne is the retired President and CEO of Landmark Communications in Norfolk.

He has a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and a law degree from UVa.
