It seems like everybody has a plan when it comes to the proposed Meadowcreek Parkway.
The interchange will be at Route 250 and McIntyre Road.
The whole proposal has been in the works for years, and Tuesday night, the city planning commission is moving part of the proposed parkway forward to the city council.
"The community, you know, there's some opposition to the parkway itself. That's usually what comes out when we talk about the interchange," said Neighborhood Development Director Jim Tolbert. "The interchange, I think, most people view as good without the parkway, and it is a separate project, and that's all that the planning commission is talking about tonight."
The next step with the city council is to decide on issues like beautification, recreational use and the public's interest.
