Wednesday night was the first of many meetings to identify a Master Plan for the town of Rivanna.

This is just one community Albemarle County is working with to eye future town goals with. Pantops has recently finished identifying it's master plan.

Some issues that people will likely identify in Rivanna include traffic off the Route 250 and parks and recreation.

County spokesperson Lee Catlin wants the whole Rivanna Community to take part in the process.

"Over the next few months we'll be having a number of other community meetings that will really be about getting maps out and markers and really helping people get their vision of the future of the village of rivanna out before them" said Catlin.
