Missing Man Found in Shenandoah National Park
An Earlysville man who had been missing since Thursday evening was found alert and oriented at the summit of Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah National Park. The U.S. Park Police flew him off the mountain via helicopter.

A hiker who was reported missing Thursday night has been found in the Shenandoah National Park.
Steven Craig Davis, a 42-year-old Earlysville man who has been missing since Thursday was located today around 12:15 p.m. at the summit of Old Rag Mountain. He was alert and oriented and was flown off the mountain by United States Park Police Helicopter.
The search for Davis began Thursday evening, when the park received a report from Davis’s family that he had not returned from a planned hike on Old Rag Mountain.
