Madison County Man Wins $250,000 In Lottery

Bobby Blakely, of Madison, is a retired farm worker. He won $250,000 after matching five numbers in the June 29th Mega Millions drawing missing only the Mega Ball.

Blakely purchased the ticket at the Madison IGA Foodliner off of Main Street in Madison allowing the computer to pick the numbers for him. He told lottery officials that he plans to use his winnings to purchase some land.

When he was asked how it felt to win $250,000 from the Virginia Lottery, he said simply, “I was pretty happy about it."
