Virginia Tech Creates Office For Recovery and Support

July 27, 2007

Virginia Tech has created a new office to serve as the point of contact for the recovery and support of those most affected by the April 16th shootings.

The school says the new Office of Recovery and Support also will improve the effectiveness of ongoing communications with victims and their families and the broader University community.

The new office will replace the individual family liaison counselors and primarily staff personnel who have been assisting victims or their families since April 16th.
