C'Ville Cultural Arts Festival Celebrates African Ancestry

Saturday was the 18th year for the Cultural Arts Festival in Charlottesville.

The event is held to celebrate the heritage of African ancestry as well as their contributions to the nation and world.

Saturday's festival also featured performances by the Chris Winters Band, singer Erica Streat, and several dance groups.

The festival also honors graduating seniors headed to college with a Heritage Scholarship.
