The African American Male Forum started it's first of many talks Tuesday on youth violence in Charlottesville.

The Group was started by local Pastor William Coles.
It's open to anyone, but is largely composed of prominent community leaders.

The meeting was closed doors to allow for people to have an open, undisturbed dialog about their concerns for troubled youth.

"Whether its mentoring whatever that combination is then we're gonna put those things in place for the long term so this situation doesn't reduce to this kind of level" said Pastor Coles.

The group is looking for community participation and input, they say it's a community effort to get this problem under control.
