Tropical storm season has already revved up with Erin followed by Dean. While the names brought serious concern to the gulf coast they are bringing a much different feeling to a couple in our area.
We're not talking about any stormy weather, but rather two chefs at Clifton Inn who have announced their engagement.
Dean Maupin and Erin Souder always knew their passion was in the kitchen.
"It was a natural thing for me I always felt normal in the kitchen," said Souder, the pastry chef at Clifton Inn.
"I got a chance to start cooking in high school and start working with great people", added Maupin, the Executive chef.
But they never thought they'd also find love in the same place.
"She's a sweet soul," said Maupin about his bride to be.
Well, that makes sense.
"Were just really supportive. If one of us looks like we're in the weeds we'll get in and help out," said Souder.
And together they're heating up the kitchen, and plan on tying the knot this November.
Whether or not Dean and Erin think their names coincide with the stormy weather, they're brewing up the perfect storm.
