Press Aide Leaving Kaine For Warner

September 19, 2007

Kevin Hall, the press aide to Virginia governors for the past six years, is leaving Governor Tim Kaine's administration to work on the U.S. Senate campaign of his former boss, Mark Warner.

Hall will be the lead press officer for Warner, whom he has already served as press secretary and deputy press secretary, during the beginning of Warner's term as governor in 2002.

Hall left Warner's office after Kaine's 2005 election victory to work for Kaine's transitional office, then returned to the governor's office as press secretary for Kaine after his 2006 inauguration.

Hall worked for Richmond's WRVA news radio and the Virginia News Network in Richmond before joining The Associated Press as a newsman in 2000.
