Newly released emails between Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) officials reveal their concern following the arrest of University of Virginia student Elizabeth Daly over her purchase of sparkling water mistaken for beer.

In one email sent June 28, ABC Commissioner Sandra Canada wrote, "What say you of the way these agents handled the situation, and why so many in one spot pleas."

The email to the agency's Director of Law Enforcement goes on to to say, "looks really bad and lawsuit material."

Emails also reveal Prosecutor Dave Chapman suggesting ABC work "with the Prosecutor's Office before any sting operations."

Chapman also told agents they should dress in casual business attire.

Daly said she didn't know the agents who surrounded her car, dressed in tee-shirts, that night were law enforcement officials.

CBS19 has included those emails in the document link above.
