A fire at an Albemarle County condominium complex left a family displaced.

The fire happened around 8 a.m. Saturday in the Turtle Creek Condos, just off Hydraulic Road. Crews found heavy smoke inside the home when they arrived on the scene.

Firefighters knocked down the blaze in a closet and a bedroom. The people who live there were out of town when it happened. They are staying with family in the meantime.

The fire department says the fire was accidental, but they're still trying to determine the cause.

The estimated loss for the fire amounts to $80,500.
