The national retail brand Anthropologie brought a local feel to their Charlottesville store on Sunday with a popup farmers market.

Anthropologie held its own version of a farmers market with local vendors as part of a new series this summer.

From Mudhouse coffee to kombucha to lavender and vegetables, these products are from the Central Virginia area and they spent their afternoon in the store showing their goods off to shoppers.

"There are a lot of people who have never heard of our farm that are here, so it's really helping us out because we just opened last year so we're trying to get our name out there," said Kathy Tillman of Inglewood Lavender in Nelson County. "We just could not believe we were invited so we are so excited to be here."

Anthropologie's marketing director said every weekend all summer they will hit a different city to help out the local businesses.
