Attorneys Submit Appeals for New Trial for George Huguely

May 14, 2013

Attorneys for George Huguely recently filed paperwork asking the State Court of Appeals to reconsider some of the reasons they believe their client should be granted a new trial.

Huguely's attorneys believe that there wasn't enough evidence for a murder conviction, and that jurors should have been sequestered during his trial.

Huguely has been granted an appeal based on other reasons argued by his attorneys, in his efforts to get a new trial.
