Two Virginia men face charges of transporting moonshine following an investigation by state and local authorities.

Virginia Department of Alcohol Beverage Control agents arrested 76 year-old Vernon Thomas of Chesterfield and 64 year-old Bernard Davis of Chase City earlier this month.

A truck, a cargo van and 150 gallons of moonshine were sized during the arrests.

The men are charged with illegally transporting alcoholic beverages in excess of one gallon, and possession of untaxed distilled spirits.
