Barboursville Man Arrested on Drug Charges

The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force and Greene County Sheriff's Office arrested a man on several drug charges.

Officials say on Wednesday they served a warrant at the home of Christopher James Frye on Flintstone Drive in the Greene County portion of Barboursville. Police reportedly seized crack cocaine, cocaine, marijuana, electronic devices and $631 in cash.

Frye, 30, is charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. Additional charges are possible pending further investigation.

The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force is Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force responsible for narcotic and gang investigations in the counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Greene, Madison, Orange and the towns of Culpeper and Orange.
