Ben Chafin, Jr. Wins Vacant Va. Senate Seat in Special Election

Unofficial results from the Virginia Department of Elections say A. Benton Chafin, Jr., (R, Va.) has won the vacant Virginia Senate seat in the 38th District.

Election results show Chafin won by a landslide, taking more than 60% of the vote over democrat D.M. "Mike" Hymes.

The special election was held to fill the seat that former Senator Phil Puckett vacated.
