All people matter. That's the message motivational speaker Alex Zan gave to dozens of kids at a workshop at Burley Middle School in Charlottesville.
Using activities like jumping rope, running, and playing ball, he focused on character building, communication and responsibility.
Zan encouraged his young audience to look out for one another and to always help each other.
"The main reason for these young people to be here today... all people matter this day in time and it doesn't matter where you come from. It doesn't matter what you look like. We all matter," said Alex Zan, Motivational Speaker.
This is Zan's fifth year returning to Charlottesville for the program.
