A new poll out from Christopher Newport University shows the race for attorney general is neck-and-neck.
Republican Mark Obenshainhas about 46 percent support from likely voters, while Democrat Mark Herring has about 45 percent. Roughly 9 percent of those polled remain undecided.
In the governor's race, the poll shows Democrat Terry McAuliffe with a 7 percent lead over Republican Ken Cuccinelli. Those polled also favored Democrat Ralph Northam over Republican EW Jackson.
