Tareq Salahi is encouraging Virginia voters to choose him as a write-in candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial election.
He is calling his campaign "Two Wrongs Make a Write-In."
"I urge my fellow Virginians to rise up and join me in letting our voices be heard," Salahi said in a press release. "Voters have the unique opportunity to send a strong message to both parties by writing in 'Salahi' on the ballot instead of ticking a box for any of the party candidates and I ask for your support in this endeavor."
Salahi did not qualify to get on the ballot as an Independent. He also plans to run for congress during the next election cycle.
