Car Catches on Fire Inside Parking Garage

Charlottesville fire crews responded to a car fire Wednesday morning inside the south parking garage at the UVa Medical Center.

Firefighters say a person was driving the car inside the garage when the engine compartment caught fire.

The blaze didn't cause any damage to the garage or any other cars.

No injuries were reported from the fire, which was quickly extinguished.
