Update: Vehicle involved in Car Jacking Found

Update: Albemarle County Police say the vehicle involved in the carjacking has been found on Wahoo Way in Albemarle County.

Police are still looking for suspects.

Charlottesville City Police are looking for three suspects in a car jacking and shooting.

It happened at the Longwood Town homes on Longwood Drive off of Harris Street. The victim had stopped his car when three men approached him, and at least one of them had a gun. They robbed the victim, then shot at him as well, he was grazed but did not need medical attention.

The suspects then took off in the victim's car. Police are now looking for a yellow Nissan X-Terra. The license plate is XFS-3838 and it is a Virginia plate.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (434) 977-4000.
