The Charlottesville Ballet will be moving its dance studio from Greene County a little closer to home. The organization held a hard hat fundraiser Saturday night at its new location on Seminole Trail.
The funds will help complete two additional studios in their new space. It will also allow for a range of different performances throughout the year.
"We'll have an in studio theater, we'll have about thirty seats for the audience. We'll be able to have once a month shows here for our academy students," said ballet co-director Sara Jansen Clayborne.
The fundraiser also featured a silent auction and performances by the ballet company.
