The Charlottesville Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau is launching a program for funding of non-profit festivals and other cultural events.

The Charlottesville Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau (CACVB) is launching a program for funding of non-profit festivals and other cultural events.

The new funding process will be handled directly through the CACVB, and approved applicants will have funding available to promote and market events from July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2015.

CACVB will be specifically focusing on how events attract out-of-town visitors to the Charlottesville Albemarle area.

The deadline for submitting completed applications is Friday, November 15, by 5 PM.
