Artists from around Central Virginia displayed work from stained glass, to jewelry, to clothing during an art festival at the Carver Rec Center in Charlottesville.

This is the second year for the event featuring over 30 artists and will continue on Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The City Market Manager says the two day event gives them opportunity to showcase their work, during a slower time of the year.
“We wanted to give artists something else,” says Stephanie Anderegg-Maloy. “The City Market is really heavy on farmers and agriculture and we really just wanted to give them an outlet in a time that's really kind of slow.”

If you can’t make it to the City Market Arts this month, then you can attend the next Market Arts event on March 15-16.
