Charlottesville Police Investigating Sexual Assault

A sexual assault investigation is underway at the University of Virginia.

Early Friday morning, police got an anonymous tip that a Charlottesville woman had been dragged by at least two men to an isolated area and sexually assaulted.

It reportedly happened near Valley Road and Brandon Avenue.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 434-977-4000.
