Charlottesville Police Seek Attempted Robbery Suspect

Charlottesville Police are investigating an attempted robbery at the Wells Fargo bank on Emmet Street.

It happened around 9 a.m. Saturday morning. Police say the suspect was wearing dark clothes and approached someone trying to deposit checks. After an argument, the suspect tried grabbing the deposit but was unsuccessful.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
