Former President Bill Clinton and Terry McAuliffe will be in Charlottesville Wednesday morning to rally votes for the democratic candidate for governor as part of their "Putting Jobs First Tour."
The trip to Charlottesville is the latest stop on the pair's four day tour of the Commonwealth. The tour has primarily focused on job creation, but Clinton and McAuliffe also spent time criticizing Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli, especially for his stance on women's issues.
McAuliffe and Clinton are long time friends. McAuliffe was a top fundraiser for both Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, and McAuliffe later served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
Wednesday's event is at 10:45 at the Paramount. Tickets are still available online.
