Columbia Gas of Virginia customers will see their seasonal monthly bills drop slightly.
The average monthly customer will now pay about 77 cents less compared to the current level.
Columbia's gas costs are typically adjusted on a quarterly basis to reflect the price the company pays for natural gas, which by law is passed on dollar for dollar to customers without markup or profit.
The natural gas company serves more than 240,000 customers across the Commonwealth.
