Doctors at Prax Family Chiropractic and Massage in Albemarle County held a "Doctors Have a Heart for Haiti" event on Saturday. They were offering a few services to people who stopped by their office on Saturday.

That was all to help students at the Renaissance School raise money for Build On, which is an organization that creates schools all over the world.

Seven students from the Renaissance School formed a "Raise the Roof" team and want to build a school in Haiti.

“I heard that the school, build on, is going to have 50 percent of the students be girls,” says Elizabeth Culbertson. “So I was very happy about that.”

“We picked Haiti because after the earthquake there was so much need and I think that with a group of so many young passionate people we can help to change,” says Lauren Ewell.

Their goal is to raise $35,000 for the build and if you are interested in donating you can click on the link in this story.
