Donations are up for teenagers through the WAHU Stockings Program.
Newsplex volunteers and those from the Salvation Army sorted through the donations of gifts and put together packages for teen boys and girls in our area.
WAHU Stockings picks up where programs like Angel Tree leave off, making sure teens in our community have something to unwrap Christmas morning.
"We got lots of donations for the project to help the teenagers this Christmas," said Belinda Johnson with the Salvation Army. "We are going to be serving over 250 teenagers."
Volunteers say it is heart warming to help parents who now have something to give their teens because of the program.
