Downtown Parking Lots Collect Food Donations

UPDATED March 25, 2013

The Charlottesville Parking Center (CPC) will be holding a food drive to benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

From March 25 until April 1, non-perishable foods, canned goods and non-glass items will be accepted for donation at drop-off boxes at any of the three Downtown CPC parking lots.

The parking lots are located at 504 E Market Street, 200 E Water Street, and 100 E Water Street.

CPC’s goal is to benefit the six Blue Ridge Area Food Bank outreach programs currently in operation.

Last year, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank distributed more than 17 million meals to hungry families across the Blue Ridge, and they expect to serve more this year.
