Federal Grand Jury to Consider Case Against UVa Dean

Nov. 15, 2013

A federal grand jury will consider the case of a University of Virginia dean, accused on child pornography charges.

Michael Morris waived a hearing on Thursday, meaning his case will move forward to a secret grand jury.

FBI agents say they downloaded more than 17 child pornography videos directly from Morris' internet address.

He's an associate dean of graduate programs, and is with the McIntire school of Commerce.

UVa has suspended Morris, and says, they're cooperating with the investigation.
