Former Albemarle Developer Pleads Guilty to Tax Charges

A former Albemarle County developer is facing up to five years in prison for federal tax evasion.

Michael Wayne Harding plead guilty to under-reporting his income, and avoiding about $87,000 in federal taxes.

In March, Harding plead guilty to two fraud-related counts. He faces up to 25 years in prison on those charges.

Sentencing on all three charges is set for September.
