Former City Council Candidate Arrested

A former Charlottesville City Council candidate was arrested for a probation violation.

James Halfaday was picked up on Richmond Road on Monday. Police have not released the details behind his probation violation.

You might remember, Halfaday was convicted in the summer of election fraud, for lying about his address and resume on election forms.
