The tragic death of a 6-year-old has the community and co-workers coming together to help.
Charlotte Watson was struck by a pickup truck on Monday. The Clark Elementary School kindergarten student died after the accident on Nelson Drive.
Now, friends and co-workers of her parents are raising funds to help the family pay for the unexpected. Through a fundraising website, they are asking friends to contribute to funeral costs and days of missed work.
Friends of the family say the response has been overwhelming.
In a letter to Clark families, Principal Daphne Keiser and Superintendent Rosa Atkins remembered Charlotte for her sweet spirit, beautiful smile, and her eagerness to learn.
