Funeral Director: Tsarnaev's Family Had Permit to Take Body to Va.

May 14, 2013

The director of the Massachusetts’ funeral home where Tamerlan Tsarnaev's body was held says the bombing suspect's family had the right to bury the body as they did.

Peter Stefan says it was legal for the body to be buried in Virginia late last week.

Stefan's comments come as the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force calls for the body to be sent elsewhere.

Stefan says the family had a permit to take the body to Virginia.
