Group of UVa. Students Receive National Honors

A group of students from the University of Virginia are being recognized for making a big impact on a national issue.

The Up To Us campaign at UVa. won first place in the national campaign competition, all to make college students more aware of the national debt and the country's future.

The UVa. Up To Us group were honored by President Clinton in St. Louis over the weekend for their efforts and involvement at UVa.

The group is next headed to Washington DC on Thursday to meet with Senator Mark Warner and other student leaders. The goal is to keep students engaged in the issues and sustaining the future.
