The Habitat Store in Charlottesville celebrated its 10th birthday on Saturday.

With balloons, face painting, food and music around the store, they wanted to celebrate and thank their sponsors and partners within Charlottesville.

It's their help that allows them to sell everything home-related in their store cheap and held build homes for those who need it the most.

Larry Scott has a home and a job because of Habitat for Humanity. He has been with the store for seven out of the 10 years it has been in town and will forever be thankful for the organization.

"A day like today gives me a sense of happiness and joy because I know what we do everyday is going to help someone out there like me," Scott said. "Someone that wanted a home and wanted to have something better for their family but just knew it was impossible."

Habitat for Humanity was able to build 16 houses in Charlottesville in the past 10 years because of this store.
