The Belk department store in Fashion Square held their annual Kidfest Fashion Show to launch their month-long fundraiser to help children who are suffering from cancer.

About 80 kids got a chance to go down the cat walk, wearing clothes from Belk. At the end of the runway the kids participating donated money to the children's miracle network.

All the money raised will go back to the UVa Children's Hospital.

“So to be able to turn an annual Spring Kidfest into a fundraiser has just been a really great blessing and a thrill today,” says Belk special event’s coordinator Jackie Hensley. “All of the money stays local so it's going to the UVa Children's Hospital which is a really great thing to do today.”

Several children from the miracle network also walked down the runway and were able to keep the clothes that they modeled during the Kidfest Fashion Show.
