Several Rotary Clubs in the Charlottesville are getting involved to help refugees from civil war in Syria.

They are collecting donations for 'shelter boxes'. $1,000 will buy one 'shelter box', which includes a tent, blankets, a cooking stove, water filter, and games for kids.

"regardless of the politics, the refugee situation has been going one." says Rotary Member Wayne Chiles. "we've been reaching out trying to serve that population as much as possible. We need everybody's support who can make some contribution."
