The Circle K International Club at UVa held its sixth-annual Breakfast with Santa event on grounds.
Children from around Charlottesville and Albemarle County were invited to enjoy a breakfast along with arts and crafts for the holidays.
Members of CKI hope to help brighten the holiday season for children in the community.
“I think it's important especially during the season of thanksgiving, where we are thankful for what we have, to realize that people have a lot less than us,” says Heidi Collins, an organizer and member of CKI. “Just to be able to reach out and give back to our community and give back to others is important.”
Each child was also able to sit on Santa’s lap and pick out a toy from under the Christmas tree.
