Super Bowl Sunday is two days away and some stores are getting a spike in sales for those last-minute preparations for the big game.
One popular item that you can't go without on Sunday is a TV. And entertainment stores like Crutchfield are ready to sell.
Crutchfield manager Shawn Pendleton spoke about the kinds of TVs and other electronics are being sold for the big game.
"Around this time of year a lot of people are interested in the big game and they want to have it on a big screen," says Pendleton. "The bigger sizes are getting more popular, so people are looking for the fifty and sixty inch sizes where they would normally come in for the forty-two to fifty. Bigger is better nowadays."
For those last minute shoppers, Pendleton says they have everything you need.
"Usually the mad dash comes in and they have a party coming up and they really want the big screen," explains Pendleton. "We usually stock up on inventory to kind of accommodate them, because they want it right now."
If you are looking for decorations to go with the big screen TV, just hit up the party store. The Party Starts Here also sees more customers during this time of the year.
"We've seen hundreds of extra people compared to our normal everyday business," says store manager Ryan Dalton. "We're selling a bunch of balloons, plates, cups, napkins, table covers, streamers and tons of football decorations."
Dalton is happy for the boost in sales, but wishes his favorite team, the Redskins, was in the big game.
